We're excited to announce we've recently enhanced the engineering experience for our LowBoy Linear Actuators by adding an online CAD configurator to our website. This new online tool lets you configure your own LowBoy product, generate and interact with a CAD model of your configuration, and then request a quote — all in a few clicks.

The configurator offers many technical options including size, drive, motor, travel length and operating environment, as well as various options for seals, encoders, sensors and installation orientation. Once you input your requirements, the configurator generates a three-dimensional model of your LowBoy actuator that you can enlarge, rotate and download in various CAD formats. You can even request a quote for your model.

Our LowBoy Linear positioning systems feature three drive mechanisms, available in the same compact, aluminum chassis. Choose from precision ball screws, which offer bi-directional repeatability of ±5 µm, as well as air-core or iron-core linear motors, which offer bi-directional repeatability of ±0.5 µm.

In addition to their precision, LowBoy actuators can exert continuous linear forces as high as 1,540 Newtons, depending on the drive mechanism. They also feature low-profile aluminum chassis designs, which integrate a cover to protect the drive mechanism from contamination. And, you can easily bolt them onto any machine.
